Long Journey with Amirita Lash and Karl Mullen from Williamstown MA. They put on a good performance and ended with the kids dancing. Everyone had a good time. This is our last party for 2017. We could not publish copyright music.
July 12, 2017 Block Party
This is the first of the two block parties for 2017.
The next one will be on August 9, 2017 with Long Journey from Williamstown MA. The Party was held indoors because of threatening weather. Bobby Sweet and band was great.

This was our second Summer Block Party and it was better attended than our first one. The weather could not have been better. This lively Brazilian Band really rocked Cheshire. The kids got to play drums along with the band. It was a great experience.

Cheshire, MA had it's second block party this summer and it was a big success featuring Berkshire Bateria and Bossa Triba. The kids had a great time playing drums and dancing.

The Berkshire Bateria Bossa Triba will be our musical guest serving up Cool 1950’s style Jazz – the Bossa Nova. Sign up to enter a free raffle for Great local Items. Food by the Adams Mason & Ice Cream from Maple Valley Ice Cream Company available for purchase. Cheshire’s own Lemonade Twins will be returning to raise funds for Cancer research. Parking is free and located at the St. Mary’s Church lot as our main street will be closed off to traffic. This is the site for event if it rains.
The turnout was more than expected and everyone had a good time. We want to thank everyone that helped us put this on. We had help from many local sponsors and the Massachusetts Council of the Arts.

This is a friendly reminder about the ANNUAL TOWN MEETING on Monday June 8th at 7pm, in the Elementary School Auditorium, 191 Church St.
Attached is the warrant which lists the articles to be discussed and voted on. Please take time before the meeting to become familiar witheach item. Article #7, 8 & 14 were placed on the warrant via registered voter petition.
There is a positive trend happening in Cheshire where more citizens are caring about and becoming involved to make the town a better place. Let’s all support this trend to be loud and clear at the meeting on June 8th with standing room only!
